HI, I'M RACHEL FREDRICKSON. I'VE BEEN PLAYING CELLO FOR 23 YEARS AND HAVE BEEN TEACHING FOR 17. TEACHING IS MY PASSION!

Rachel grew up in a highly musical family. She has a bachelor's degree in Music Education with an emphasis in cello. She loves teaching. It is her passion! She also worked for Summerhays music in Orem where she learned how to repair cellos. Rachel’s goal in life is to make every cellist's experience the best it can be. She believes that every student needs to be taught according to what that student needs that day. She uses the Suzuki books, but not the Suzuki method. Rachel is excited to meet new students and help them in their cello journey!

Rachel is a fabulous teacher. I am an adult who is returning to the cello. She has been very patient with me as I have relearned a lot of what I forgot. She motivates me to want to practice and is very encouraging. I am enjoying the cello again and hope to be able to join an orchestra in the next few years! My favorite parts of our lessons are when she plays with me the pieces I am working on. I love to try and match her sound. She plays beautifully!
